Weed Removing Blade
The inter-row blade is the ecological alternative to chemical weeding; thanks to it, in fact, the grass degrades naturally and the operation between the plants is easily facilitated, without upsetting the profile of the soil. The equipment consists of a special blade which is constantly kept in the working position (approximately at 90°) by a hydro-mechanical system. It allows us to destroy weeds, lift the root part of the grass from the ground and quickly re-enter it, thanks to the sensitivity of the special palpator, every time it comes into contact with the vine stump brace or the support pole. Once the obstacle has been overcome, the Interceppi Blade quickly resumes its working position. The Lama Group’s palpator has been updated with innovative techniques; thanks to the aid of a new valve, the sensitivity of overriding and the speed of return have been improved, and it also allows you to operate
easily on difficult and particularly firm terrain.
In addition to the blade in two sizes (L = 350 / 500 mm), it is possible to mount a special ploughshare. Depending on the length, two or three clod-breaking fins can be mounted on the blades to separate the grass roots from the soil.
The working depth (6/7 cm max) is determined by means of a mechanically or hydraulically adjustable wheel (on request).
Furthermore, on the final part of the blade it is possible to insert a small tipping ploughshare. The frame is equipped with two hydraulic positioning movements:
*lateral displacement approx. 0.60 m

*wheel for adjusting the working depth, hydraulic on request
*hydraulic mechanical distributor with three-function mechanical joystick with flow divider
*electro-hydraulic distributor
*electro-hydraulic control (emergency button for quick blade/share return)
Thanks to its particular structure, the “Rapid Lam” climbing group can be applied quickly, either on special frames of our production, to be positioned independently on the rear, front or ventral lift, both in the lateral and bilateral (right/left) version.

Another type of mechanical-hydraulic inter-row weeding can be applied on the same tool-holder frame, the lawnmower mod. Turbo-Bas ECO2020 designed for the removal of weeds from under the rows in vineyards and orchards.
This assembly was designed to be fitted to suitable frames, on both the front of the tractor, in single, bilateral or tunnel version, and in lateral position in single or double versions, with specific flanges or to the universal rear hoist of any tractor, with special support frames, for the use on the left or right side.
The mod. Turbo-Bas Eco2020 mechanically operated mechanical whip weeder will be used mainly at the beginning of the season (from February to June), later on you will use the blade (Rapid-Lam).
The interchangeability of the tools and the different types of work enable managing the soil under the plants easily and successful for the whole season until the harvest.
Besides it was designed (to be easily fitted) to substitute the blade (mod. Rapid-Lam) working between the rows, this tool is used for the mechanical weed removal, under the grass substrata (maximum 7 to 8 cm depth) between the rows, during the summer with dry soils, not to have a rapid start of the grow of the weeds.
We designed this tool with the aim of proposing an medium/low investment, since the user will have at disposal two tools on a single frame, so being able to manage tall stages of the production cycle of the plants, the weeds under the vines, without being obliged to use chemical product proved to be extremely polluting for the environment.
In the end, the mod. Turbo Bas Eco 2020 mechanical weeder with whips, without the tunnel system with hydraulic feeler, can be substituted with a simple spring movement, certainly more economical, yet slower during the straddling operation
Moreover, the extreme compactness and the lightweight of the equipment with a height a slow as only 30 cm ensure the possibility of working on the most diverse soils and in rows with various training methods (Guyot, low spurred cordon, etc.) and on slopes with both vertical and horizontal rows.
With simple anchoring brackets, it can be applied even on small, light and narrow hydrostatic cultivators or on tine harrows, flail mowers, etc.
The whips are made of a special, soft and wear-resistant polyamide copolymer (nylon).
